Q : Who is eligible to buy Global Student USA Insurance Standard plan?
You must meet the following criteria to be eligible for Global Student USA Insurance Standard plan:
- Must be a non US citizen, ages 14- 64 years, temporarily residing outside their home country as a non resident alien.
- Must be engaged in full time international education.
- Must have a valid visa status.

Q: How will my proof of insurance be sent to me?
If you buy or renew your coverage online, your receipt and Confirmation of Insurance will be instantly emailed to you. If you buy or renew by fax or mail and provide an email address, your Confirmation of Insurance will be emailed to you. Otherwise, your Confirmation of Insurance will be sent to you via U.S. mail.

Q: I need coverage to begin as soon as possible. Is it possible for my Global Student USA Insurance Standard policy to go into effect the day I enroll?
No, however, your policy can go into effect as soon as one day after you enroll online.

Q: Are a student's dependents eligible for coverage?
No, dependent coverage is not available.

Q: My school requires an Insurance Compliance Form or a Waiver Form be completed as proof of my insurance. Can you complete this form for me? What should I do?
First, purchase Global Student USA Standard Insurance. After your purchase (enrollment) is complete, simply fax your school's Compliance or Waiver Form to us at (610.293.3529).We will complete it and fax it back to your school for you. Forms received by 12:00 noon Pacific Time will be faxed back to your school by 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, the same day.

Q: Can I buy Global Student USA Insurance Standard if I am already studying outside my home country?
Yes. You can enroll in Global Student USA Standard regardless of how long you have been studying outside your home country, as long as you fulfill the eligibility requirements in Question 1 above.

Q: Can I renew my coverage?
Yes, as long as you fulfill the eligibility requirements in Question 1 above.

Q: How do I renew my coverage?
Before your existing Global Student USA Insurance Standard coverage has expired, or within 31 days following your Expiration Date, renew your current coverage using our instant secure online Renewal Form. You will be sent an email reminder to do so, beginning 3 weeks prior to your coverage Expiration Date.
Those who originally enrolled by mail or fax and did not provide an email address, can renew online or by using a print form that will be mailed to you one month prior to your current coverage Expiration Date.

Q: Can I cancel my coverage?
Yes, if you cancel after 10 days premium will be refunded in whole months only.

Q: Does Global Student USA Standard cover Pre-Existing Conditions?
Pre- existing conditions are covered only after one year of continuous coverage. Please read the brochure for detail.

Q: Does Global Student USA Insurance - Standard policy cover pregnancy?
Yes, it covers the pregnancy of an insured student if the pregnancy begins during the coverage period.

Q: After graduation, I plan to remain in the U.S. for practical training. Am I still eligible for coverage under Global Student USA Standard insurance policy?
No. Once you graduate and are no longer attending school, you are no longer eligible for Global Student USA Standard. You should instead enroll in an insurance Plan for Visitors to the U.S.

Q: After I submitted my Enrollment online, I realized I entered the personal information . What should I do?
Send any corrections to us in writing by email to: support@visitorscoverage.com, or by fax or mail and we will confirm the changes. When sending correspondence, please include a daytime phone number and reference your Transaction Number.
