Q2: How long can I get coverage for with Inbound Immigrant?

You can initially get coverage for a minimum of 1 month to maximum 12 months. The plan can be extended/renewed up to 5 years.

Q6: When will I receive my ID card?

The print out of the on-line buying receipt/virtual ID card is the proof of insurance and can be used as an ID card. If applied online and the premium is lower then $100, then you won't be receiving anything in the mail. You can print out the ID card after you purchase the insurance and it will be emailed to you as well. Keep the email safe and keep a printed copy as well.

If your premium is over $100 then you have the option of the ID card sent to your mailing address in addition to the email ID card. If you do not select the mailing option you will NOT receive the ID card in mail. You should receive your insurance package at your mailing address within 5-10 business days of purchase.

Q7: How do I extend/renew or rewrite my insurance coverage?

This plan is renewable/extendable so SevenCorners will send a coverage extension notice to your address of correspondence, advising you that your program is ready to be renewed. A small renewal fee will apply for every renewal. Online renewals must done anytime before the policy expiration date. Once the policy has expired, it is no longer renewable. This means that you must complete another application and submit it to SRI along with premium.

If you would like to change the policy terms like the maximum coverage or deductible, you can let the old policy expire and complete another application where a new policy with take into effect with the new policy terms.

Q8: What is a deductible? Is the deductible per incident or annual?

The deductible is the amount that you, the insured person, pays before the insurance begins to pay for any of the covered expenses.

For the Inbound Immigrant plan the benefits and the deductible is per incident. Which means for every new sickness or injury you pay the deductible again.
