Q3. What is a deductible?

This is the amount that must be paid by the insured before the insurance company begins to reimburse for covered expenses. This works like your Auto insurance deductible where certain amount the insured need to pay first.

As an example, if you purchase a plan with a $50 deductible and incur $15,000 of expenses, the insurance company will begin to reimburse for expenses after you have paid the initial (Deductible) $50.

Q5. What is AD&D and who's name should I put for the beneficiary on the application?

AD&D stands for Accidental Death & Dismemberment. It provides insurance protection if the insured's death during the coverage period is a result of an accident. AD&D also provides benefits for the accidental loss of hands, feet, eyesight, speech or hearing.

The "AD&D Beneficiary" should be any close relative of the insured who will receive the insurance benefit in the event of the insured's death.

For example: If the insured is your parent you can be the beneficiary and the relationship would be "child".

Q6. I want to buy insurance for 4 adults but the system allows only 2 (primary and spouse). How do I make the purchase for 4 people?
