Q
Hello, I am planning to get a travel insurance for visiting France. Do you pay providers directly in France? Is there an insurance policy that will fulfill Schengen Visa requirements and offer a visa letter confirming this?
A

Atlas International is the best policy for those applying for a Schengen Visa. The policy meets and exceeds all Schengen Visa requirements as long as you choose a deductible of $0 in the application.

You can get quotes and purchase Atlas International here: https://www.visitorscoverage.com/insurance/atlasinternational/

After your deductible, Atlas International pays 100% up to the policy maximum. You can choose your deductible in the plan application. When choosing a deductible of $0, you are minimizing your out-of-pocket expense if you were to ever use the insurance.

Unfortunately, there is no travel medical insurance that offers guaranteed direct billing. The billing practices are up to the provider that you visit. You can read more about billing, here: http://blog.visitorscoverage.com/travel-medical-insurance-direct-billing-or-cash-payment-upfront/

You can learn more about Atlas Internaional in the brochure here: http://www.visitorscoverage.com/brochure/atlas-international-insurance-brochure.pdf

You can also view the Description of Coverage here: http://www.visitorscoverage.com/policydoc/atlas-international-insurance-policy-document.pdf

You will need your passport number and date of birth to purchase the plan.

After purchasing the policy, you will receive a confirmation email. In that email, there will be a link in which you can use to access your insurance documents including your visa letter. The link takes you to a portal called HCCMIS' Client Zone. You can also access the Client Zone here: https://zone.hccmis.com/clientzone/

Hope this helps. Please email us at support@visitorscoverage.com if you have additional questions.
