Visitor Insurance Plan Cancellation

Visitor insurance plans available on this website are cancellable. However, the refund and cancellation procedure is different for each company. While some companies allow you to cancel the policy before its start date, others allow you to cancel the policy and get the refund on a prorated basis only, provided no claim is submitted. Please read respective policy document and brochure for complete and accurate details and terms on cancellation.

How to Cancel

With the subject: Request for Cancellation, Policy # [provide the policy number]

Include complete details including policy number, date of purchase, and the reason for plan cancellation. Upon receipt of this information we will initiate the policy cancellation with the insurance company. Please allow 7-10 business days to process the cancellation.

Following is the information about cancellation and refund policies for different insurance companies and plans:

Seven Corners

All plans offered by Seven Corners like Inbound USA, Travelers Liberty, Liaison International, Liaison Continent, Liaison Majestic, Inbound Immigrant, and Inbound Hospital, are cancelable subject to below provisions:

A full refund can be considered if requested before the policy effective date (start date).
Prorated refund is possible for cancellation request received after policy effective date only if no claim has been filed. A cancellation fee of $25 is applicable.

Travel Insurance Services (TIS)

All plans offered by TIS like Visit-USA and World-Med insurance plans are cancelable subject to below provisions:

A full refund can be considered if requested before the policy effective date (start date). There is a $20 cancellation fee applied for cancellation requests.
After the effective date the premium cannot be refunded.

Global Underwriters (GU)

All plans offered by GU like Diplomat America insurance plans are cancellable subject to below provisions:

A full refund can be considered if requested before the policy effective date (start date). There is $25 cancellation fee applied for cancellation requests.
After the effective date the premium cannot be refunded.

HCC Medical Insurance Services

All plans offered by HCCMIS like Atlas America and Atlas International insurance plan are cancellable subject to below provisions:

A full refund can be considered if requested before the policy effective date (start date).
Prorated refund is possible for cancellation request received after policy effective date only if no claim has been filed. A cancellation fee of $25 is applicable.

IMG Insurance

All plans offered by IMG like Visitors Care ,Patriot America and Patriot Platinum insurance plan are cancellable subject to below provisions:

A full refund can be considered if requested before the policy effective date (start date).
Prorated refund is possible for Visitors Care Plan cancellation request received after policy effective date only if no claim has been filed. A cancellation fee of $25 is applicable.
Monthly refund is possible for Patriot America and patriot platinum for cancellation request received after policy effective date only if no claim has been filed. A cancellation fee of $50 is applicable.

Trawick International

All plans offered by Trawick International like Safe Travels USA and Safe Travels International insurance plan are cancellable subject to below provisions:

A full refund can be considered if requested before the policy effective date (start date).
Prorated refund is possible for cancellation request received after policy effective date, only if no claim has been filed. A cancellation fee of $10 is applicable.
