Do Travel Medical insurance plans cover Coronavirus (COVID-19) testing?

Most Travel Medical plans will only cover Covid-19 testing if the insured is symptomatic for Covid-19 and a test is recommended by a physician for diagnostic purposes. Voluntary testing is not covered unless the policyholder has purchased CoverAmerica-Gold, which offers a Public Health Emergency Screening benefit of up to $150 for a one-time Covid-19 test. The Covid-19 tests are not for pre-travel requirement purposes. Please review the CoverAmerica-Gold policy document for any limits and exclusions.
