How do I know if the provider will accept direct billing?

You may contact your providers' administration office and inquire whether they accept the particular insurance PPO plan or if they directly bill for the desired services.

Typically, providers will bill you if the service or procedure you received was small and relatively inexpensive. However, if the procedure was expensive, they will usually bill the insurance company directly.
