We would like to buy insurance for our visit to California and Arizona from 14th January 2018 until 20th February 2018. We are husband and wife, both 74years old. We would want cover for accident and emergency. My husband is on medication to thin his blood, also blood pressure and cholesterol tablets, we have looked at your different policy and not sure what is the one to buy. Can you advise us?

For your visit to U.S., you can consider the CoverAmerica- Gold plan. This is one of the most popular plans for travelers up to age 79. It covers for any unexpected sickness or injury that may occur during your travels. It is important to note that travel insurance policies do not generally provide coverage for pre-existing conditions and preventive care due to the short-term nature of the plans. That being said, this plan does provide limited coverage for an acute onset of a pre-existing condition which could be helpful in the event of a related emergency.
