Ad Sales Specialist

Job Summary:

We are an internet-based, technology company that provides services to customers all over the world. We are seeking an experienced Ad Sales Specialist who will be responsible for building and maintaining new advertisers and current clients. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a sales and account management position.

This is a FULL-TIME, JUNIOR LEVEL position. We are located in Santa Clara and are looking for local candidates. No telecommuting allowed. GREAT Compensation package with above-market pay!

Required Skills:
  • Proven track record of knowledge of digital media & solution-based selling
  • Strong knowledge of digital advertising industry
  • Basic knowledge of search-engine marketing
  • Basic knowledge of social media marketing
  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Practical experience in a client-facing role
  • Ability to demonstrate effective & professional presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility as an analyst or problem-solver
  • Ability to demonstrate expertise in digital ad-sales
  • Strong data-driven thinking
  • Strong relationship building and networking skills
  • Sales operations and client management skills
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, web technologies, and end-to-end digital ad-sales ecosystems
  • Ability to handle complexity, change, and ambiguity
  • Superior communication skills--verbal, written, and presentation
Responsibilities:
  • Pitch to Fortune 500 brands and other corporate clients
  • Identify potential clients/advertisers keen to target South Asian segment
  • Reach out to CEOs and CMOs with an advertising sales pitch
  • Continuously follow up to build a strong relationship with all potential and current clients
  • Manage all assigned advertising accounts
  • Meet and exceed goals that include revenue and prospecting activity goals
  • Build proposals to add value to clients and complete the full-cycle sale
  • Build sales and literature and pitch presentations
  • Drive client objectives and agenda internally and be the champion for the client
  • Specialist in the advertising products and services that company has to offer
  • Build expertise in the South Asian segment and gain a significant market share of the advertising budget of client spends in this segment
  • Network with media planners and buyers to ensure highest ad spends allocations as part of client marketing spends
  • Be a solution seller and provide out-of-the-box ad solutions
Qualifications:
  • 4 years of experience in sales and account management
  • 4-year college degree
