Note - your PPO network will remain UnitedHealthcare Network if:
- You purchased a CoverAmerica Gold policy prior to September 3, 2019
Effective September 3, 2019, CoverAmerica Gold will be transitioning to a new underwriter Crum & Forster along with a new medical provider network PHCS.

Existing policyholders with purchases prior to September 3, 2019, will have until September 28, 2019, to extend their current policy to remain with the same underwriter and PPO network. Policyholders cannot exceed the amount of coverage dates stated in the policy documents.
If you decide not to renew your plan before 9/28/2019, your coverage will expire on the current expiration date shown on your ID card. You will need to buy a new plan if you need coverage after that date.
If you buy a new plan, the underwriter and provider network will change. Also, the effective date of your new plan will be used to determine pre-existing conditions. Conditions treated on the current plan will be considered pre-existing and will not be covered.
Claims will not be impacted by the new changes. All existing policyholders will be covered as stated under the policy documents at the time of purchase.
Cancellation will not be affected by the new changes. Please review the policy documents you received at the time of purchase for the cancellation policy.
