CoverAmerica-Gold is an A- rated comprehensive Travel Medical insurance plan that provides medical coverage and other covered travel and emergency services for visitors to the U.S during their travel and temporary stay outside of their home country. Coverage begins once the policyholder has left their home country and has entered one of the eligible destination countries (or) is in transit to another eligible country after the USA. The coverage duration available is from 5 days to 365 days. While in the U.S, after the deductible is satisfied within the United Healthcare PPO network, the plan will pay 100% of eligible medical expenses up to the policy maximum. Outside of the PPO network, the plan will pay 80% of the first $5,000 in eligible medical expenses then 100% thereafter. Learn more about how CoverAmerica-Gold works.

CoverAmerica-Gold can cover COVID-19 like any other covered medical condition if the virus was contracted after the policy effective date. The plan offers a Public Health Emergency Screening benefit, along with Quarantine Indemnity coverage if a policyholder is ordered to quarantine by an authorized attending physician.
