Does your health insurance company have a plan that includes maternity?
Internet User, 30 Jul 2012

Travel medical insurance is a short-term insurance that covers for any new, unexpected sicknesses or illnesses. This does not include pregnancy and birth. Unfortunately, because the cost of pregnancy care and birth in the US is so expensive, we recomment that you stay in your home country until your baby is born.

However, this does not mean that you should not purchase coverage in case or an injury or sickness while you are abroad if you still choose to travel. You may choose from any of our visitors' policies if you still choose to travel.
