Hi, I will be traveling to NY (NY) for holidays with my family for 8 days. I’m planning to get the Liaison Worldwide plan for the 8 days we will spend there. In the event that injury/illness/accident occurs during these 8 days and for medical reasons I am not able to depart home on the 8th day, will I still be covered for medical expenses according to plan limits, even if the period covered has expired? Thank you

Yes, most policies have a provision called the "Benefit Period," that contiunes to provide coverage up to a certain number of days/months for any treatment that was started while the policy was active.
