Have A Question About Travel Insurance ?Ask A Question
I'm an international student with F1 visa at Dartmouth college. Do you have any plan eligible to waive the plan at school? Here are the requirements for insurance: It is mandatory that all active students have health insurance that provides coverage for emergent and non-emergent medical and mental health services obtained in the Hanover, NH area. Coverage must include all ten "essential health benefits" as defined by the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in the Hanover, NH area: · Outpatient care (ambulatory patient services) · Emergency Services · Hospitalization (treatment for inpatient care) · In-patient and out-patient mental health services and addiction treatment · Prescription drugs · Maternity and newborn care · Rehabilitative services and devices · Laboratory services · Preventive services, wellness services, and chronic disease treatment · Pediatric services Plans must provide treatment for pre-existing conditions, with no waiting periods or exclusions. They must also be issued in the U.S., have a U.S. based claims administrator, and have a U.S. address and phone number for claims submissions. Please note: Students attending Dartmouth on a J1 Visa are not permitted to waive out of the DSGHP. Thanks, Fang
