Do I need a medical examination to check for pre-existing conditions? If not, how will the insurance company decide if a particular sickness or injury is a pre-existing condition?

Internet User, 07 Jul 2014

A medical examination will not be needed, as there is no underwriting required. The labeling of a pre-existing condition is always up to the doctor's discretion. Read more about pre-existing conditions here: Pre-Existing Conditions for Visitor Coverage
