hello, i wanted to ask which plan is best for pregnancy, and if one of the plans covers pregnancy tests and labor procedure.

Unfortunately, pregnancy is not covered under travel medical insurance due to the short-term nature of the plans. Here you can read an article regarding pregnancy and visitors/travelers to the U.S. The purpose of travel medical insurance plans is to cover any unexpected illness, sickness, or injury that happens after the policy effective date. There are 2 plans that offer some type of pregnancy related coverage: Atlas America and Safe Travels USA Comprehensive. Atlas America covers complications of pregnancy during the first 26 weeks of gestation. Safe Travels USA Comprehensive covers emergency medical treatment of pregnancy. You can get quotes and purchase Atlas America here. Atlas America after your deductible, pays 80% of the first $5,000 billed, and then 100% thereafter up to the policy maximum. You can choose your deductible in the plan application. When choosing a deductible of $0, you are minimizing your out-of-pocket expense if you were to ever use the insurance. You can learn more about the plan in the brochure here. You can also view the Description of Coverage here. You can get quotes and purchase Safe Travels USA Comprehensive here. Have A Question About Travel Insurance ?Ask A Question
Just a quick question. Can you clarify the renewing of policies. I am planning to purchase a policy for a 2 week trip from the Bahamas to the US in Mar but plan to travel again from the Bahamas to Seattle, Washington and take a cruise to Alaska during that time. Can I use the same travel coverage if I renew it? Please clarify the renewing of policies. Thanks
