Hi My father is over 70 and has diabetics so can he get coverage for his stay in USA.

Your father can definitely get coverage for any new sicknesses or injuries that occur during his stay in the US. For coverage for any new sicknesses or injuries, we recommend Atlas America: http://www.visitorscoverage.com/atlas-america-insurance/ Unfortunately, there is no coverage available for pre-existing conditions for someone who is 70 years old and with a chronic pre-existing condition like diabetes. He should bring all necessary medications with him to the US to avoid paying out-of-pocket for diabetes-related expenses. An option we have that offers some relief of diabetes-related costs is called the Careington Total Health Savings Plan that acts as a discount card: http://www.visitorscoverage.com/careington-discount-plans/ Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
Have A Question About Travel Insurance ?Ask A Question
Hi, My dad is visiting the US for 3 months starting next week. He's around 66 years old and has diabetes, high blood pressure, and had bypass surgery 2 years ago. I have few questions: 1. What does acute onset of pre-existing conditions mean? 2. Does Kaiser hospital in California accept Inbound USA insurance? If not, then can you please give list of hospitals near Santa Clara, CA that would accept this insurance? 3. Do I need to pay upfront for all my new sicknesses or injuries, or is it cashless? 4. What would be the best insurance/coverage policy for pre-existing conditions like the ones listed above?
