Hi My father is over 70 and has diabetics so can he get coverage for his stay in USA.

Your father can definitely get coverage for any new sicknesses or injuries that occur during his stay in the US. For coverage for any new sicknesses or injuries, we recommend Atlas America: http://www.visitorscoverage.com/atlas-america-insurance/ Unfortunately, there is no coverage available for pre-existing conditions for someone who is 70 years old and with a chronic pre-existing condition like diabetes. He should bring all necessary medications with him to the US to avoid paying out-of-pocket for diabetes-related expenses. An option we have that offers some relief of diabetes-related costs is called the Careington Total Health Savings Plan that acts as a discount card: http://www.visitorscoverage.com/careington-discount-plans/ Hope this helps. Have A Question About Travel Insurance ?Ask A Question
Hello, My sister in law will be travelling from India with her 1 year old son to visit us in San Francisco. She will be also visiting other places in the US. She wants to stay in the US for around 45 days. But she needs blood transfusion every 25 days due to her condition: thalassemia major. We want to make sure that she can have her blood transfusion in US by the end of 25 days of her visit. I want to ensure that her entire process from meeting a specialist to getting blood transfusion to prescriptions is well covered with minimum out of pocket. For example if we select "Visit USA" plan with $250 deductible and $50,000 coverage, will $250 be all she will have to pay? Will all her treatment be covered under the insurance? At the end of the day we do not want to find that there are hidden charges or ineligible expenses which pushes the out of pocket costs much higher. Thank you and looking forward to your reply. Regards, Atish Shah
