I am a permanent resident in the US, but I want to insure a friend that is visiting the US. Can I buy the policy for her online? When I tried the first question is about "my" citizenship and country, shouldn't it refer to the insured? Thanks

Yes, you may purchase a policy on her behalf. When buying a policy, all of the information you are required to fill out will be for whomevever the policy will insure.
Have A Question About Travel Insurance ?Ask A Question
My mother-in-law lives in South Africa and would like to spend 6 months with us in the US. She has high blood pressure, a-fib, and hypothyroidism. While she is here, she will need monthly doctor visits and lab draws to ensure her Coumadin dose is correct. She is stable and well-controlled. If she is in the US and has a sudden, new onset of a-fib and angina and needs to go to the ER, is this care covered? Do any of the plans cover the monthly doctor appointments? Thanks for your help!!
