I have a comprehensive coverage plan for my mom that's ending this week. She made a couple of visits to the doctor during the duration of her policy. I plan on taking a limited coverage next week on, but I want to make sure that the claims made during the duration of coverage for the comprehensive coverage plan will still be considered under the comprehensive coverage. I understand any visits made on or after the date that the comprehensive coverage policy expires will be under the new limited coverage I will opt for. Is this correct? Thanks!
Hello, thanks for the question. We would be happy to clarify that for you.
You are indeed correct. Any services your mother received during the duration of the comprehensive coverage policy's coverage dates will be covered under the comprehensive plan.
Any services recieved on or after the date of expiration will be covered under the basic coverage plan as long as you choose the coverage date to start on the day that the comprhensive coverage plan expires.
Hope this helped.
