Q
I took comprehensive medical coverage for my mother and a few days back while she was walking in the park, she slipped and fell down. Doctors said that because of the fall there is a fracture in her bone and surgery is needed. Does this plan cover the expenses for her injury?

A

Travel medical insurance provides coverage for new, unexpected sicknesses and injuries. If your mother's fall occured on or after the policy's effective date, and if the injuries she suffers from are due to an accident that occured on or after the policy's effective date, then her treatment will certainly be covered by any of our visitors' plans.

Please be sure to collect all receipts/bills form the facility that you receive treatment at. For instructions on how to file a claim, check out How to File a Claim.
