My father is in USA already. He has cad diagnosed a week back with no other prior medical condition before this diagnosis . He is on medical treatment for now . He is here until December here . Is there any plan for him to cover any sudden unexpected
Since something has already happened to your father, what has already happened is considered a pre-existing condition.
Pre-exisitng conditions are not covered under any type of travel medical insurance because of the short-term nature of the plans. The only thing that is covered in relation to a pre-existing condition is something diagnosed as an acute onset. An acute onset is a sudden and unexpected recurrence of a pre-existing condition and is up to the doctor's diagnosis.Customarily, travel medical insurance covers anything new that happens, emergency and non-emergency both. Some policis also cover an acute onset of a pre-existing condition, depending on your father's age. If your father is under the age of 70, the best policy is Patriot America Plus. If your father is in his 70's, the best policy is Safe Travels USA Comprehensive.
Insurance rates are regulated by law. You can't find the same insurance plan for a lower price anywhere else
