Q

My question is about policy maximum of comprehensive insurance. It is per occurrence or for the whole period? For example, If the policy maximum is $50,000, and it is reached in one hospitalization, does it leave rest of the period uncovered?

A

The policy maximum for comprehensive plans applies for the whole time period, not per incident. Yes, you are right, if the policy maximum is met quickly, there will be no additional amount remaining for the period. Because of this, it is better to choose a higher policy maximum.
