What does per person policy period mean?

ISHANK, 03 Feb 2018

Per person policy period, means that the policy maximum and deductible are applicable one time in the policy period for each insured person. For example, if you buy a policy for 4 months, then for those four months, you would be responsible for one deductible, whether you go to the doctor one single time, or multiple times. It is important to note that if there are two insureds under the same policy, then the policy maximum and deductible would apply separately for each person.
