Do I pay for the insurance premium each time I travel under my multi-trip insurance policy?

Updated Mar 22, 2023
Answer provided by a licensed Insurance advisorLicensed U.S. Insurance Specialist at VisitorsCoverage
A policyholder under a multi-trip insurance plan will pay upfront for the entire coverage for one year. The policyholder will be able to travel multiple times throughout that one year period for increments of 30 or 45 days depending on what coverage duration was chosen. The insurance premium does not need to be paid each time the policyholder plans to travel.
