Maryland has some restrictions when it comes to travel insurance. As a result, quite a few plans cannot be purchased with a Maryland address. However, you can buy these plans with the address in the home country of the insured and use the travel medical plan in Maryland without any problem. All insurance documents are sent via email, and nothing is sent to the mailing address. It does not affect the coverage or benefits if someone uses a US address versus their home country address.
