Generally, citizenship and home country do not have an effect on travel insurance. However, the plans that we offer are usually only available for people traveling internationally outside their home country. Most policies are not applicable for US citizens coming back to the USA, even if they are dual citizens and live permanently outside the USA. For US citizens, most policies would consider the USA to be the insured's home country.
