    The Adventure Activities rider, if elected and paid for will covere expenses up to the amount set forth in the Schedule of Benefits resulting from an Injury sustained while participating in any of the following activities: Bungee jumping; caving; hang gliding; jet skiing; kayaking; motorcycle, motor scooter or electric scooter riding whether as a passenger or a driver; Parachuting; paragliding; parasailing; scuba diving only to a depth of thirty (30) meters with a breathing apparatus provided that You are SSI, PADI or NAUI certified; snowmobiling; spelunking; surfing waves up to two (2) feet high; wakeboard riding; water skiing; windsurfing; or zip lining. The policyholder must purchase this optional coverage if they wish to be covered while riding a motorcycle, motor scooter, electric scooter or similar transportation when such transportation is an established and accepted routine means of public transportation for hire in the specific geographic area located in the Host Country.

    The Seven Corners Travel Medical Basic- Non-USA is available for:

  • Any traveler outside their home country for a short period of time, excluding the USA.
  • The plan is available for a minimum of 5 days and a maximum of 364 days.
  • Pre-existing conditions are not covered by Seven Corners Travel Medical Basic- Non-USA plan. However the Seven Corners Travel Medical Basic- Non-USA Plan covers for an acute onset of pre-existing conditions. For people up to age 64 the plan covers up to $25,000 for an acute onset of pre-existing conditions. For people above age 65 to 79, the plan covers up to $5,000 for an acute onset of pre-existing conditions. It is up to the attending physician to determine if a particular medical situation is related to a pre-existing condition or not, and also if it would be considered as an acute onset or not. Please check the Description of Coverage for more information about what is considered as acute onset of pre-existing condition.

    Each insurance company may have their own state-specific regulations on where plans can be sold. These state restrictions only impact residents from those specific states from purchasing these plans. However, if you are traveling to the United States, you will be covered in all 50 states during your active policy period.

    Yes, if you buy the plan initially for more than 5 days, you can extend the policy. You would need to extend the plan at least two days before the policy expires. There would be an extra $5 extension charge. The policy can be extended for up to a maximum of 364 days.

    Yes, you can cancel and get a refund for the Seven Corners Travel Medical Basic- Non-USA , if you need to go back earlier than planned. The following rules apply: 1) You can get a refund back, only if you do not need to visit the doctor/provider while the policy is in force. 2) You can get a pro-rated refund for the number of days left in the policy 3) $35 cancellation fee applies. 4) If there is any claim on file, you would not get any refund back. 5) Written request is required for any cancellation.

    You cannot remove one person from the policy if other travelers are included. We recommend letting the current policy lapse with all travelers or canceling and repurchasing for the remaining travelers as per the policy terms.


    You will need names, coverage duration, date(s) of birth, home country address, and a valid credit card.

    You can print out your ID card from your confirmation e-mail and it will be used as proof of insurance.

    Coverage will be provided in all eligible countries visited with the exception of your Home Country and any restricted countries listed in the policy documentation. Coverage will only be offered within the policy start and end dates. Please note: If any part of your trip includes the United States, please select it as your destination country.

    The Seven Corners Travel Medical Basic- Non-USA plan can cover for COVID-19 and will be treated the same as any other eligible medical condition so long as the virus is contracted after the policy effective date and you have departed from the country of residence.     Based on the desired coverage length you have selected, you have to make the full payment at the initial purchase.

    Since this plan is extendable you can extend it anytime you would like to before the policy expires. There is an extendable fee of $5 associated with the extension.

    Coverage will begin on the date selected and once the policyholder has left their home country. The policy will only cover for conditions that occur after the policy effective date.
    Only the primary destination in the application will be listed on the policy documents, but rest assured that all other eligible inputted countries will be covered during the active policy period.

    Coverage on the travel medical insurance plan will begin on the date of departure (12:00am EST) and once the traveler has left their home country. Coverage areas are anywhere outside one's' home country as long as the policy is active. The coverage will end immediately once the traveler has entered back into their home country and at 11:59pm EST on the last date of coverage.

    No, your Seven Corners Travel Medical Basic- Non-USA plan won't be extended or renewed automatically. You have to sign into your account online and activate the extension or renewal yourself. Not all plans are extendable or renewable, so be sure to review your policy terms and conditions for eligibility.

    The Seven Corners Travel Medical Basic- Non-USA plan does not cover for the COVID-19 vaccine/booster, but will cover COVID-19 treatment and services the same as any other eligible condition if contracted after the policy effective date.     Seven Corners Travel Medical Basic- Non-USA will only cover for COVID-19 testing if the policyholder is experiencing symptoms and the test is ordered by an attending physician for diagnostic purposes. COVID-19 tests to meet travel requirements will not be covered.

    The Seven Corners Travel Medical Basic- Non-USA plan does not offer any coverage for quarantine.

    An acute onset is a sudden unexpected outbreak or recurrence of a Pre-existing Condition which occurs spontaneously and without advance warning either in the form of Physician recommendations or symptoms, is of short duration. It has to be an acute medical condition that requires immediate medical attention. More conditions and restrictions apply. Please check the Description of Coverage to understand what is covered under acute onset of pre-existing condition.

    The insurance provider recommends that you submit any correction requests in writing as your policy is a legally enforceable document. Following receipt of the correction, we send the request to the insurance provider; normally, the updates require 3-5 business days. They are processed in the order that they are received. We advise double-checking the information on the application before completing the purchase to prevent any errors and corrections.

    During the policy period, if you need to go back to your home country for a short trip, and come back again, then the plan would cover for short trips. The maximum number of days covered in incidental trip home is 30 days. The trip must not be taken for medical purposes. Incidental home country coverage does not apply to final trip to home country.

    The optional Adventure Activities rider would cover for the following sports and activities: motorcycle /motor scooter riding (whether as a passenger or a driver), hang gliding, Parachuting, zip lining, parasailing, bungee jumping, water skiing, wakeboard riding, jet skiing, windsurfing, snowmobiling, and spelunking
