Q1: Am I Eligible for the Atlas Series?

If you are traveling outside of your Home Country and are at least 14 days old, you are eligible for coverage. If you are under age 70, you may select your Overall Maximum Limit, ranging from $50,000 to $1,000,000. If you are age 70 to 79, the Overall Maximum Limit available is $50,000. If you are age 80 or older you are eligible only for travel outside of the United States, the Overall Maximum Limit available is $10,000. The minimum coverage period is 5 days and the maximum initial coverage period is 364 days.

Q3: When will I receive my ID card?

Atlas plan insurance is an online Policy , Once you purchase the policy online you will receive a printable policy online. You can print and cut the paper ID card for your record and use it in the event you go to Doctor or hospital.

Based on the desired coverage length you have selected, you have to make the full payment at once.

Since this plan is renewable you can renew it anytime you would like to before the policy expires. There is a renewable fee of $5 that's associated with the renewal.

Pre-Existing Conditions	If you are under age 70, you are covered for an Acute Onset of a Pre-existing Condition. Coverage is available $50,000 or $100,000 Maximum for Eligible Medical Expenses and upto $25,000 for Emergency Medical Evacuation. An Acute Onset of a Pre-existing Condition is a sudden and unexpected outbreak or recurrence of a Pre-existing Condition which occurs spontaneously and without advance warning either in the form of Physician recommendations or symptoms. Treatment must be obtained within 24 hours of the sudden and unexpected outbreak or recurrence.

Co-Insurance	After the Insured pays the deductible, the program pays 80% of the next $5,000 of eligible expenses, then 100% to the selected Maximum. Coinsurance will be waived for claims incurred within the PPO if expenses are submitted to Underwriters for review and payment directly to the provider. Outside the United States and Canada: After the Insured pays the deductible, the program pays 100% to the selected Maximum.
How the Benefits are Paid	Plan pays 80% of the first $5,000 of eligible expenses, then 100% to the selected policy maximum.

US States Restriction	Not available if the person is physically present in NY state at the time of purchase (if the applicant's Billing address is NY state). This restriction is only for Purchase. The plan still provide coverage for a policy holder visiting NY.
Home Country Definition	US citizens: Home Country is always the United States, regardless of the location of your Principal Residence. Non US citizens: Home Country is the country where you principally reside and receive regular mail.
Country Restriction	Can not be purchase for travel to and from Australia.
