VisitorSecure Insurance is a basic travel medical insurance plan offered by WorldTrips, underwritten by Lloyds. VisitorSecure provides affordable but limited coverage for visitors traveling outside their home country and visiting the USA. Being a limited coverage insurance plan, the plan provides coverage pre-defined fixed coverage benefits. VisitorSecure also provides coverage for acute onset of a pre-existing condition for visitors below the age of 70 years, up to a certain amount depending on the policy maximum, at no extra cost.

What's Not So Good
  • Since VisitorSecure Insurance plan is a limited coverage plan, the coverage and benefits may not be adequate.
  • For age 70+, fixed $100 deductible for each incident.
  • Only $10,000 coverage for travelers over 80 years of age.
  • May not be adequate for higher medical expenses.
  • Any medical expenses should be pre-certified to avoid 50% reduction in the benefits.
