If a policyholder has contracted COVID-19 after the policy effective date and is no longer fit to travel, they may utilize the Trip Cancellation benefit in order to receive a reimbursement for their non-refundable trip cost. The illness must be documented by an attending physician in order for the policyholder to be eligible for coverage.
