Yes, there is a policy available for elderly travelers with pre-existing conditions. The plan, called Visitors Protect, covers travelers visiting the US, Canada, or Mexico. It must be purchased for a minimum of 90 days and before the traveler has left their home country. The policy covers new medical conditions up to $50,000 and pre-existing conditions up to $20,000. It uses the United Healthcare PPO network and covers 75% of medical expenses after the deductible, until the policy maximum is reached.
