Answer provided by a licensed Insurance advisorLicensed U.S. Insurance Specialist at VisitorsCoverage
With multi-trip insurance plans, you can expect that the policies will typically cover:
Medical Coverage
: Coverage for any new sickness or injury that occurs after the policy effective date.
Medical Evacuation and Repatriation
: Emergency medical evacuation coverage provides financial assistance in case you find yourself in an emergency situation that requires you to be immediately transported or evacuated. Repatriation refers to the “return of mortal remains” in the event that you or a loved one dies abroad. This coverage provides assistance in order to recover the body to the home country.
Trips of 30-days or 45-days
: A policyholder can take as many trips in 30 or 45-day increments within one calendar year and be covered by one single policy.
