The plans that we offer are short term travel medical insurance plans which only provide coverage for new and unexpected sickness or injuries that occur after the policy goes into effect. As with all travel insurance policies, most of these do not have any coverage for pre-existing conditions or preventive care. However, we do offer a few plans that can cover for the worsening of a pre-existing condition should your symptoms increase while you are traveling outside of your home country.

You can learn more about Pre-existing Insurance and view available plans by clicking on the “View Plans” button.

You may also consider the CoverAmerica - Gold policy because it is one of the very few plans that provides coverage for acute onset of a pre-existing condition for people above age 70. It is always up to the attending physician to determine if a given medical situation the result of a pre-existing condition or not and also if it would be considered an acute onset.
