Accidental Death and Dismemberment Coverage
This rider, available to Members age 18 to 69, allows purchase of additional Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage. It does not cover certain activities and conditions, as listed in the policy. As Atlas Travel provides $25,000 in AD&D coverage to Members age 18 to 69 in the base plan, this rider would increase the total AD&D benefit to $50,000 for only $0.35 / person / day.

U.S citizens and non-U.S citizens who are at least 14 days of age and up to 75 years of age traveling throughout the year can purchase an Atlas Multi-Trip plan. Coverage will be outside of the travelers home country.
A policyholder under the Atlas Multi-Trip plan can travel for increments of 30 days or 45 days depending on what was chosen during the time of enrollment. After the chosen coverage timeframe has passed, the policyholder must return home before traveling again to receive coverage.
Atlas Multi-Trip is Administered by WorldTrips. Visit WorldTrips's plan provider page for more information.
Atlas Multi-Trip can cover for COVID-19 and will be treated the same as any other eligible medical condition so long as the virus is contracted after the policy effective date and you have departed from the country of residence. For more in-depth information regarding the impact of the coronavirus on travel insurance, please go to our information hub.
You will need names of the travelers, coverage duration, date(s) of birth, country of residence, citizenships, destination's, home country address, and a valid credit card.
Coverage will be provided in all eligible countries visited with the exception of your Home Country and any restricted countries listed in the policy documentation. Coverage will only be offered within the policy start and end dates. Please note: If any part of your trip includes the United States, please select it as your destination country.
The Atlas Multi-Trip plan is only cancelable prior to the certificate effective date. Premiums are fully earned on the certificate effective date and are nonrefundable thereafter.

You cannot remove one person from the policy if other travelers are included. We recommend letting the current policy lapse with all travelers or canceling and repurchasing for the remaining travelers as per the policy terms.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered by Atlas Multi-Trip Plan. However, the Atlas Multi-Trip plan covers up to the policy maximum for acute onset of pre-existing conditions. An acute onset of a pre-existing condition is defined as: A sudden and unexpected outbreak or recurrence of a Pre-existing Condition which occurs spontaneously and without advance warning either in the form of Physician recommendations or symptoms. Chronic or congenital conditions or pre-existing conditions that gradually become worse over time will not be considered acute onset. A Pre-existing condition is defined as an Injury, illness, sickness, disease, or other physical, medical, mental, or nervous conditions, disorder or ailment (whether known or unknown) that, with reasonable medical certainty, existed at the time of application or within the 2 years immediately preceding the certificate effective date. Please check the Description of Coverage for more information about what is considered as acute onset of pre-existing condition.

Coverage on the travel medical insurance plan will begin on the date of departure (12:01am EST) and once the traveler has left their home country. Each insurance company may have their own state-specific regulations on where plans can be sold. These state restrictions only impact residents from those specific states from purchasing these plans. However, if you are traveling to the United States, you will be covered in all 50 states during your active policy period.
Only the primary destination in the application will be listed on the policy documents, but rest assured that all other eligible inputted countries will be covered during the active policy period.
