Atlas Journey Premier is a Travel Insurance plan for U.S residents traveling domestically or internationally. The plan offers reimbursement coverage on non-refundable trip costs due to covered reasons for Trip Cancellation, Trip Delay, Trip Interruption, and more.

Atlas Journey Premier will cover COVID-19 like any other covered medical condition if the virus was contracted after the policy effective date. Coverage for Quarantine is provided under the Trip Delay benefit, if ordered by an authorized physician.

Eligibility

For U.S residents traveling within the U.S and internationally
For Ages 1 to 99 years old
Coverage for a maximum of 180 days
Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) must be purchased within 21 days of initial trip deposit date
Interruption for Any Reason(IFAR) must be purchased within 21 days of initial trip deposit date

How COVID-19 is Covered Under Atlas Journey Premier

COVID-19 Medical Expenses

Medical treatment and services related to COVID-19 can be covered in the event that the virus was contracted after the policy effective date.

COVID-19 Testing

Testing can be covered if ordered by the attending physician for diagnostic purposes if symptoms occur after the policy effective date.

COVID-19 Vaccination/Booster

COVID-19 vaccination/booster is not covered under the policy.

Quarantine Benefit

Quarantine coverage included in the Trip Delay benefit can provide coverage for additional accommodation expenses if the quarantine is ordered by a physician.

Emergency Medical Evacuation

Emergency Medical Evacuation for COVID-19 treatment can be covered if the virus is contracted after the policy effective date.

Trip Cancellation

Coverage for canceling a trip due to COVID-19 before the departure date.
