While in the U.S., after the deductible is satisfied within the First Health PPO network, the plan will pay 100% of eligible medical expenses up to the selected policy maximum. Outside of the PPO network, the plan will pay 100% of eligible medical expenses, up to the selected policy maximum.
Bridge Plan does not cover pre-existing conditions.

The PPO provider for Bridge plan Insurance is First Health, a network recognized by all major hospitals and healthcare facilities.
When visiting a healthcare facility, remember to mention First Health as your PPO provider. Bridge plan policy holders should visit providers listed within the First Health directory to take advantage of in-network benefits.
Outside the USA
There is no PPO network outside the United States. If your plan allows for coverage outside of the United States, you can view the international list of providers for Petersen International.
Eligibility for Bridge plan
- For permanent residents, green card holders, waiting for Medicare or not currently eligible for Medicare.
- Coverage begins once the policyholder has left their home country and has entered the destination country
- For ages 60 to 95 years
- Coverage for up to 364 days in a policy period
- Extendable for up to 364 days
- Plan can be purchased after arrival at the destination

You cannot remove one person from the policy if other travelers are included. We recommend letting the current policy lapse with all travelers or canceling and repurchasing for the remaining travelers as per the policy terms.
