While in the United States, after the deductible is satisfied within the United Healthcare PPO network, the plan pays 80% of eligible medical expenses up to the selected policy maximum. Outside of the PPO network, the plan pays 60% of eligible medical expenses up to the selected policy maximum.
INF Elite X includes coverage for eligible pre-existing conditions up to the selected policy maximum, subject to the applicable deductibles and policy terms.

Outside the USA
There is no PPO network outside the United States. If your plan allows for coverage outside of the United States, you can visit any doctor or hospital.

Any Non-US residents can apply for the INF Elite X Network Plan. This includes B1/B2 visa holders, Green Card holders, H-1B Visa Holders, Students on F1 / F2 Visas, and those on OTP. This plan is available for individuals aged 14 days to 99 years. The INF Elite X Network Plan can be used for travel to the United States, Canada or Mexico. The plan is available to purchase for a minimum of 90 days up to 364 days. Please Note: Purchase must be done before arrival into the destination country.
The INF Elite X plan will cover the unexpected worsening any pre-existing condition up to the stated amount on the policy. The insured is fully covered for every doctor visit, specialist visit, emergency room visit, or hospitalization up to the eligible medical maximum set forth in the policy.
You can go to any doctor or hospital of your choice. If you would like, you can choose to go in the PPO network for INF Elite X plan, which is the United Healthcare PPO Network.

You are able to extend INF Elite X up to the maximum coverage period of 364 days. INF will send email, text and phone call reminders to you 1 week & 1 day before the policy expires. There is a $5 extension administration fee.
You may cancel INF Elite X before the coverage effective date for a full refund. After the effective date, the premium is non-refundable and considered fully earned. Policies purchased before January 1, 2026 and canceled prior to the coverage effective date are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. Policies purchased onward are subject to a non-refundable $15 application fee.
After the policy start date, policy cancellation must be due to a covered reason explicitly stated under the trip interruption benefit, and the premium would not be reundable. Cancellation requests must be submitted online by logging into your VisitorsCoverage account.
You cannot remove one person from the INF Elite X policy if other travelers are included. We recommend letting the current policy lapse with all travelers or canceling and repurchasing for the remaining travelers as per the policy terms.
To purchase INF Elite X, you will need names, coverage duration, date(s) of birth, home country address, passport, and a valid credit card.
After enrolling in INF Elite X, you will receive an email confirmation containing an attachment for ID cards, certificate of insurance and visa letter.
INF Elite X will provide coverage in all eligible countries visited with the exception of your Home Country and any restricted countries listed in the policy documentation. Coverage will only be offered within the policy start and end dates. Please note: If any part of your trip includes the United States, please select it as your destination country.
INF Elite X can cover for COVID-19 and will be treated the same as any other eligible medical condition so long as the virus is contracted after the policy effective date and you have departed from the country of residence. The INF Elite X plan does not cover for the COVID-19 vaccine/booster. INF Elite X will only cover for COVID-19 testing if the policyholder is experiencing symptoms and the test is ordered by an attending physician for diagnostic purposes. COVID-19 tests to meet travel requirements will not be covered.
Coverage with INF Elite X will begin on the date selected and once the policyholder has left their home country.
Only the primary destination in the application will be listed on the INF Elite X policy documents, but rest assured that all other eligible inputted countries will be covered during the active policy period.
Coverage on an INF Elite X plan will begin on the coverage start date and once the traveler has left their home country. The coverage will end immediately once the traveler has entered back into their home country or when the policy has expired.
No, your INF Elite X plan won't be extended or renewed automatically. You have to sign into your account online and activate the extension or renewal yourself. Not all plans are extendable or renewable, so be sure to review your policy terms and conditions for eligibility.
The INF Elite X plan does not offer any coverage for quarantine.
Yes, the INF Elite X plan can provide a Guaranteed Cashless Claims benefit where the INF insurance company can pay the medical provider directly.
The insurance provider for INF Elite X recommends that you submit any correction requests in writing as your policy is a legally enforceable document. Following receipt of the correction, we send the request to the insurance provider; normally, the updates require 3-5 business days. They are processed in the order that they are received. We advise double-checking the information on the application before completing the purchase to prevent any errors and corrections.
