How to Cancel GlobeHopper Senior
You can cancel your GlobeHopper Senior insurance policy with the following steps:
- If you have not already done so, please sign in to your account using the policy ID and D.O.B of the primary policyholder.
- Find the plan you want to cancel and click cancel. Fill out the required fields and complete cancellation.
- Allow 7-10 business days for processing and refund.
How much will I be refunded?
If Cancelled Before the Effective Date
A $0 cancellation fee is applicable for any policy cancelled before the effective date.
You can get a full refund if the cancellation is done before the coverage begins.
You can get a full refund if the cancellation is done before the policy starts, or within the 5 days review period after the policy start date, given there has not been a doctor visit.
If Cancelled After the Effective Date
A $50 cancellation fee is applicable for any policy cancelled after the effective date.
Full month refunds are only possible if no claims have been filed.
For instance, if you buy the policy for 3 months from January 1 to March 31 and file a request for cancellation on January 16, then the period of February 1 to March 31 would be considered for a refund.
Any refunded amount will be refunded the same way it was paid. If payment was made using a credit card, the refund will go to the same card.
