VisitorsCoverage’s Response to COVID Crisis in India

VisitorsCoverage, a California-based Insurtech company in the travel insurance industry, has been working closely with its insurance partners to help our customers from around the globe secure travel insurance extensions, manage cancellations, and resolve any other travel insurance policy issues during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since a large number of its customers are from India and the Indian subcontinent where the devastating crisis continues, VisitorsCoverage has ramped up efforts to help Indian travelers and customers navigate changes and disruptions to their travels. As a tech company founded on the belief that education, technology and empathy play vital roles in keeping travelers safe, VisitorsCoverage’s commitment to aiding our Indian customers couldn’t be stronger.     

 

To help further their efforts, VisitorsCoverage has pledged to immediately donate $10,000 to Sewa International, a nonprofit service organization specializing in disaster relief and rehabilitation. Additionally, the company will donate 1% of proceeds from every sale for the next week, for an additional donation of up to $15,000. We hope this little contribution can help to save lives and facilitate necessary medical or emergency assistance for those in need.

 

This morning, VisitorsCoverage CEO Rajeev Shrivastava offered these words of support and reiterated the company’s dedication to aiding customers in India and those who may be stranded overseas:

 

“We are closely monitoring the recent COVID surge in India. Our customers from around the globe or their family members’ travel plans to or from India may have been affected during this time. We wanted to let our customers know that we, along with our partner insurance companies, are here to help in any way we can, should they run into any issues, or have an exception request. We will do our very best to accommodate their travel insurance policy needs.”
