In Europe: After the Insured pays the deductible, the program pays 100% to the selected Maximum
Incidental Trip in USA: Inside PPO Network: The plan pays 90% of eligible expenses up to US$5,000, then 100% up to the Policy Maximum.
Outside the PPO Network: The plan pays 80% of eligible expenses up to US$5,000, then 100% up to the Policy Maximum.

Home Country Definition
U.S. Citizens: Home Country is always the United States of America.
Non-U.S. Citizens: Home Country is the country of which the Insured Person is a citizen or national; including any country where the Insured Person maintains his/her primary residence or usual place of abode and any country of which the Insured Person is the possessor of a validly issued passport. In the event there is more than one home country under the above-listed criteria, the Home Country is the country meeting the above-listed criteria and listed by the Insured as his or her Home Country on the application.
US States Restrictions
Residents of Maryland (MD) state cannot purchase this policy. Applicant with Maryland (MD) state address cannot purchase this policy. Policy still provides coverage for policy holder who is visiting MD State

Q2: Does this plan fulfill all Schengen Visa requirements Yes this plan fulfills all Schengen Visa Requirements. Some embassies do require $0 as deductible. So it is recommended to choose $0 deductible if you are looking for coverage to satisfy Schengen visa insurance requirements. | |||||||
Q3: Will I receive a Visa letter? You will get the visa letter and the ID card in your e-mail, within 5 minutes of purchasing the policy. You can print these from your confirmation e-mail and the visa letter can be used as proof of insurance. While filling out the online application, if you select online fulfillment you will not receive anything in the mail (paper mail), but you will receive confirmation in your e-mail. Q4. Can I cancel the policy? Yes, you can cancel the policy and get the full refund back within the Review Period (first 3 days of purchasing the plan). After the Review Period, only full month refund is available. $10 cancellation fee applies. | |||||||
Q5. What does the incidental trip to the USA mean? The Europe Travel Plus plan covers travel to Europe. However, it does offer some coverage for trip to the USA, if it is in transit to or from Europe. This coverage is available for maximum 14 days.

Q6. What is the Sports riders options? Adventure Sports are usually not covered in travel medical policies. With additional premium you can purchase the optional Adventure Sports Rider Coverage. It is available for those up to the age of 64. The following activities are covered to the lifetime maximum amounts listed below as long as they are engaged solely for leisure, recreation, or entertainment purposes: abseiling, BMX, bobsledding, bungee jumping, canyoning, caving, hang gliding, heli-skiing, high diving, hot air ballooning, inline skating, jet skiing, jungle zip lining, kayaking, mountain biking, parachuting, paragliding, parascending, piloting a non-commercial aircraft, rappelling, rock climbing or mountaineering (ropes and guides to 4500m from ground level), scuba diving (to 50m), skydiving, snorkeling, snow boarding, snowmobiling, snow skiing, spelunking, surfing, trekking, whitewater rafting (to Class V), and wildlife safaris, and windsurfing. All such activities must be carried out in strict accordance with the rules, regulations and guidelines of the applicable Governing Body or Authority of each such activity. The maximum coverage for Adventure sports rider for different age groups are the following:
| Q7: What is Evacuation Plus Rider? Medical Evacuation is provided for only Emergency life threatening medical emergency in the Europe Travel Plus Plan. This optional rider can be purchased with additional premium. It would be available to insured persons, up to 64 years of age. It provides coverage for medical evacuations for sudden and unexpected medical conditions that are non life-threatening, and where hospitalization is medically necessary. It also offers coverage for evacuations as a result of a natural disaster. This rider must be purchased for a minimum purchase of 3 months regardless of the minimum number of days being traveled. | Q8: What is Legal, Loss or Theft of Personal Property, Personal Liability, Felonious Assault Rider?
