Infographics: Tips for Physically Challenged Travelers

Travel can pose a new set of difficulties for physically challenged travelers, especially at airports and on planes. But don’t let this deter you from enjoying travel as much as any other passenger. As long as you make certain arrangements ahead of time, airports and airlines are happy to make your flying experience as comfortable as possible.

When it comes to getting through the airport and boarding the plane, know that attendants are available to assist you throughout every step of the process. Requesting a wheelchair or special transportation, taking advantage of priority boarding, and asking for assistance from flight attendants are just some of the ways you can enjoy a better travel experience as a disabled or physically challenged traveler.
