VisitorsCoverage Wins Two Customer Service Awards

VisitorsCoverage Wins Two Customer Service Awards

VisitorsCoverage is honored to receive two awards: the 2021 Business Intelligence Group Excellence in Customer Service Award for Transformation of the Year and a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Customer Service Team of the Year category in the 19th Annual American Business Awards®. For the last 15 years, our goal at VisitorsCoverage has been to put customers first and to provide exemplary customer service. We couldn’t be more thrilled to be recognized for our superior service.

Business Intelligence Group: Excellence in Customer Service Award

Business Intelligence Group is an esteemed organization that recognizes and rewards businesses for exceptional vision, creativity, and persistence. Their awards program specifically recognizes the extraordinary work of customer service teams that help companies improve customer experience. VisitorsCoverage has made it a mission to put customers first, so we couldn’t be more proud of this honor.

American Business Awards: Bronze Stevie Award for Customer Service Team of the Year

Over 3,800 nominations were submitted to this year’s American Business Awards for consideration. Nominations were then judged by more than 250 professionals worldwide to determine this year’s Stevie Award winners.

The judges’ comments for the awards program reflected how the customer service team’s initiatives prioritized customers. They noted, “[VisitorsCoverage’s] ability to pivot and meet the needs of both your customers and your employees with COVID are admirable. I am very impressed with your use of AI and Luna, as well as the self-service portal, to provide self-service options for your customers on repeatable tasks, freeing up your live agents for any complex issue resolution. Well done!”

Why We Won: Our Promise to Put Customers First

Both rewards honor the way that we’re continuously creating innovative solutions to the challenges that the modern traveler faces. This goal has been all the more relevant in the era of COVID-19 and the resulting changes in the travel industry.

In response to these rapid changes and uncertain times, we created one of the most extensive portfolios for COVID-19 travel insurance plans. We also debuted Luna, the travel insurance industry’s first-ever AI-based smart bot. This provided travelers with 24/7 access to the most up-to-date and accurate information on safe travel.

At the same time, our customer service team delivered outstanding service despite transitioning to a remote workplace environment. During this time of great change, our team maintained an average rating on Google Reviews and Trustpilot of 4.8, an achievement we are incredibly proud of.

Award-Winning Customer Service

Since our inception, we’ve made our customers our #1 priority. Receiving these honors from the Business Intelligence Group and from the American Business Awards reaffirms our commitment to that customer-first mission. We look forward to continually delivering exceptional service while providing tools and information to simplify the travel insurance decision-making process for travelers around the world.
